What is Madden ladder?

Madden ladder is a site where you are free to play unique ranked games. Our mission is that you can get a game at any time, meaning no waiting around like league sites.

We offer different ladders with only just one login. We support Xbox 360, PS3, PS2 and PC versions of Madden.

How do I get my name on the ladder?

All you have to do is play a game. You only get ranked once you have played. This is to avoid the ladders being cluttered with people who sign up and never play.

How does the point system work?

The ladder uses a tested formula called the Elorating system. You can find out about this system here A new player always starts off with 1000 points.

By beating players above your ladder position, you will gain lots of points. If however, you win against lower ranked players, you still get points, but not as much. If you are high up on the ladder and get beat by a lower ranked player, you will lose a lot of points, as you are expected to win.

How do I get a game?

The best way to challenge someone, is to join our chat room. Simply ask in the room that you want to play, and someone may challenge you. Another way to get a game is to arrange it through the site's message system. Any player can be messaged by either going to your control centre, or their profile.

Control centre? What's that?

Control Centre is where you can carry out various tasks to your account. If you want to message someone, read your messages, edit your profile, etc, your control centre is where you go. You can access your control centre when you are logged in and it should show on the left hand menu of the site.

Does the ladder reset?

Yes. We work on a season model, where the ladder will reset every 3 months.. Awards and Prizes are given out for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place and are put onto the players profiles.

What are the medals for?

As well as monthly medals for the top 3 ladder players (on all ladders), we also give out various medals on the site. Things like winning tournaments, having the most points, donating etc are all there for winning.

Why do I have to download to register?

To stop multiple signups (cheaters), we developed our own secure registration tool. You only have to use this once to play on Fifa Ladder, but it also has the ability to be used as a chat application, if you don't like using the sites embedded chat room.

Do I have to signup for the other ladders?

No. Once you signup with us, there is no need to sign up for anything else on the site. Your 1 login does all.

Multiple signups

If someone in your family uses the same P.C. as you and wants to join, you will have to contact us about this. You can get a hold of an admin, by clicking message an admin on the top menu. Or, use the contact form.

I can't login to the ladder!

If you have forgotten your password, click here to retrieve it. Please keep in mind that your username and password to the ladder are case sensitive, which means "John" is not the same as "john".

If you have been banned from the ladder, you will not be able to login.

How do I report my scores?

At the end of a match the winner is the one who uploads the file then the loser has to accept the score and also upload the file. .

What do I do if someone hasn't reported?

Always give your opponent a little time to report. If after 10 minutes he hasn't reported the game, message an admin on the chat room or message one on the site. They will advise you further.

My opponent(s) just quit!

Obviously this can happen, not everyone's connection is 100% stable. As with the last entry, just message an admin.

When do the tournaments start?

Knockout cups on the ladder can only be made by a ladder admin. We run cups from time to time and give the winner a cup medal for their profile. We usually have cup games when there are lots of people in the chatroom.

Can I admin a cup?

You can, but the admin has to start the cup and give you the rights to admin the cup.

How are the fixtures done?

The fixtures are completely random. After a round of the cup is completed, it takes the remaining players and jumbles them up to randomise it.

I can't join a tournament!

Please make sure the cup is not running before joining it.

Reporting a cup game

The loser reports the cup game on the site. The report section for cups is different from the normal ladder reporting. You should go to the cup brackets page and click the report button for the cup.
